Here at The Woof Book HQ, we consider our four legged friends to be one of the family and we treat them as such. An integral part of this is to take our furry
friends with us when we go for family days out. Sadly not all people hold dogs in the esteem that we do and as such there are many establishments, businesses
and attractions that are far from dog friendly.
With this in mind, The Woof Book have compiled a guide to dog friendly days out in the UK. Whatever your mood or circumstances, there is a dog friendly
venue waiting to welcome you. Dog friendly venues listed on thewoofbook.co.uk include country parks, forests, fun parks, buildings of interest, animal parks,
railways and more!
Why not use our map below to find a dog friendly venue? There are more than 200 dog friendly attractions listed on thewoofbook.co.uk at present and we
are growing bigger each and every week. To help us, if you know of a dog friendly day out or attraction, please
let us know
so we can help other UK dog owners.
We would like to gently remind all dog owners to be responsible when out and about and use leads at all times where requested and where there is livestock about,
as well as cleaning up after your dogs. Never be without poop bags and consider the
countryside code
when in the countryside.
It is a sad fact that disrespectful dog owners are the cause for many venues withdrawing access for dogs, so please become part of the solution and not part of
the problem and let's encourage more venues to open their doors to dogs.
Zoom in and out on the map using the + and - buttons and click and drag to move around the map, then click on
a coloured flag for more details. If you can't find anything near you, please check back as we will be updating this map very regularly, thanks.
Please Note: Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the information on thewoofbook.co.uk is up-to-date
and accurate, we would advise that you consult the venue website and/or contact the individual venue before setting out to ensure details have not changed.
We cannot be held responsible if you act on the advice and information on this website and it proves to be inaccurate.
